We care about your privacy.  Your privacy is an important factor that The Kite Farm considers in the development of each of our products and services.  We are committed to being transparent and open.  This Privacy Policy explains generally how we receive personal information about you, and what we do with the information once we have it.  When The Kite Farm collects information about you, we may receive personal information from you based on your interaction with us on our website, or submit user feedback or a request to us. We use cookies and third party web analytics for functionality and to improve our products, services and communications. You can control individual cookie preferences, indicate your cookie preferences to others, select text only emails, and opt-out of Google Analytics.  The Kite Farm website allows you to make purchases for products and services. These transactions are processed by third parties, and not by The Kite Farm.

Orders

Placing an Order:
The Kite Farm offers multiple ways to place your order:

  • Online: To place an order on our website, please use our secure online shopping cart and enter your shipping and credit card information. Your order will be processed within 2 business days.

  • Phone: Please call us at 1-305-868-5483 to place your order by phone. Customer service representatives are available from 9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Sunday.

  • Email: You may also place your order by emailing us at info@thekitefarm.com . Please include the item and a phone number where we can contact you. We will send you instructions on how to proceed with payment.

Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Credit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards.

  • PayPal: You may use your PayPal account by selecting the “Check out with PayPal" button during checkout.

  • Checks: The Kite Farm accepts both business and personal checks. However, your items will not ship until your check is processed. Checks usually take 5 to 7 business days to clear. Please send an email to info@thekitefarm.com to confirm the total of your order including shipping and tax (where applicable). Please make checks payable to The Kite Farm and include your order number along with any specifics, such as sizes, colors, or quantity.

Order Confirmation:

Once we receive your order, we will send a confirmation email with an invoice. We will notify you by email and provide you with a tracking number once your order has shipped. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please check your junk mail or spam folder. If no confirmation is received, please email us at info@thekitefarm.com, so we can verify your order and resend your order confirmation.


Sales Tax:

We are required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to Florida addresses, which will be itemized at checkout. No sales tax will be charged for orders shipped to addresses outside of Florida.

Price Matching

We offer price matching on most products. We reserve the right to decline to price match but in most cases, we will honor price matches with other websites.

Shipping

Shipping charges are based on the item’s weight and the distance between the origin and destination zip codes. Shipping charges to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, other US territories and International will be slightly higher. Some items (paddleboards, etc.) may require additional shipping charges depending on the destination. We will contact you prior to shipment if your item requires additional freight costs.

Delivery Times

Most orders ship within 2 business days from when your order was placed. We are not responsible for unavoidable shipping delays due to billing/credit card problems, order changes made after your order has been placed or product availability delays.


Shipping Methods

Most items are shipped via FedEx, UPS or US Postal Service. Oversized items may require specialty freight carriers.

Returns and Exchanges

Please open and inspect your package as soon as you receive it. If you have questions about your shipment, call 1-305-868-5483 no later than the next business day.  For whatever reason, such as, weather conditions, any watersport packages (i.e. kitesurfing) that are not completed and that are pre-paid will be returned for the full value. Gift certifcates are non-refundable; however, can be applied to another Kite Farm item or activity, to be used within one year.

We pride ourselves in carrying high quality items, and we hope that you will be pleased with your order. Nevertheless, you may return any item, in its original condition, excluding custom items. If we made a mistake on your order, we will also refund your return with no ground shipping fee.

We want you 100% satisfied with your purchase from The Kite Farm. If you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 14 days for a refund of the purchase price, minus shipping fees. We require that you pay to ship the item back to us.


To return an item:

Contact us at info@thekitefarm.com or call us at 1-305-868-5483 within 14 days of receiving your order, and request instructions for return. Do not return anything without notifying The Kite Farm. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging with all tags, inserts and instructions. All returns must be packed with enough packaging to protect the contents. Items damaged due to poor packaging will not be accepted for returns or credits.


To make an exchange:

To exchange an item, you may return the item to be exchanged (please see our return policy) and place an order for the item you would like in place of the returned item. We will process your order and ship the item to you. When we receive the returned item, we will refund the amount, minus shipping, to your account.
